This lovely bowl has lotus motif inside. It also has olive colour glazing. On the outer side, it has unique cat crawls lines, making it one of its kind.
The bowl is from the late 12th to 13th century. It probably comes from a Chinese trading vessel that lost on the sea. It is made in the Southern Song Dynasty probably from Fujian province.
The bowl has wear and tear and cracks here and there, consistent with the age. The outer side condition is also not perfect, it has dirt probably from sea shells? Please see pictures for details. Nonetheless, this is a genuine piece of Chinese antique, from the Song Dynasty period, and it is from my private collection.
