This is part of a large collection of Antiques. A rare Southern Song Dynasty Qingbai Jar molded on the exterior to resemble Lotus leaves. The glaze is a wonderful shade of Sky-Blue and we date this jar to the 12th Century.
It is completely covered in a luscious Shadow Blue glaze except for the unglazed mouthrim. This is a beautiful example of a classic design from the Song Dynasty. This Jar measures approximately 2.2 inches (5.6 cm) High X 2.7 inches (7.0 cm) in Diameter. This Jar is apparently missing its lid and is in fair condition for its age with no chips or restoration. It does have a very faint hairline glaze crack that is only noticeable due to some discoloration. It could easily be bleached. The photos tell all and are a part of the description.
